August 28, 2oo7 - Back to School *dun dun dunnnn*
So, 'much-awaited,' this shall be a longg blog entry (wh00t! =P). It is currently
8:00 in the morning (I'm not exagherating), and I'm wide awake. Really. And it's all thanks to my
lovely parents, who are deeply concerned I won't be able to wake up
in time for school next week. So this morning, my dad woke me up SUPER early. And this is what he says:
"Wake up. It's one already."
To which I completely freaked out. Because, really, if you wake up at one only 6 days before school starts, and it becomes a natural habit, how on earth are you going to wake up 6 hours earlier without falling back asleep? So I jumped up from my bed,
ran to the washroom, brushed, washed, (etc etc...) and came out wide awake, only to see that it was only 7:00. In the MORNING. Really...and parents tell US never to lie, pfftt. :( Haha, so thanks to that, right now I'm wide awake, and have decided to take this
time to update Simpled =D
News--I'm currently working on a new article called
Watermelon Philosophy, which I hope I can get finished by this week so I can put it up on the Food4Thought page. I've recently officially classified Simpled as a STOCK graphics site/small personal
blogging site, and thanks to
Elaine's nifty
PHP article, I've 'mastered' (okay, fine, not mastered...but at least I get it now) the art of PHP, and will be PHP-ing my layout in short time (though I might not put it up for a while, haha. Still need to get used to it^^) Have also exchanged links with 3
awesome websites, so please be sure to check them out! :

This is going to be a short blog entry, as I'm having a huge migraine. It hurts so much I can barely look at the screen, after watching High School Musical 2 (
Lucas Gabreel is hawttt...) jk jk.
Okay fine, well, he IS. But really, that's not the point of why I'm blogging right now (or is ittt?
Hmm.) The point is that I have a huge migraine, but I want to update because I haven't done it in a while and it's hurting my self conscience, and tomorrow
I shall be heading off stationEry shopping with
Aprilbumm.

August 12, 2oo7 - Alive and Updating
Happy summer holidays, everyone! (Okay, fine, it's almost ending...-sigh-) Sorry it took me
so long to update Simpled--I've been busy working on my story, but now I'm back
with a
BRAND new layoutt! Yes, say hello to version 3.o, Ticktock. I must admit, if it weren't for
Elaine who messaged me earlier showing me a sneak preview of her new layout,
I honestly wouldn't have been so inspired to update mine. (Oh, jeez. I bet that was her plan all along...*glares suspiciously at Elaine*)
So, what have I accomplished this summer? Nothing much, really. I've grown obsessed with some addicting Family Channel shows like Naturally Sadie (Ben! <3), Life with Derek (Derek! <3), and 8 Simple Rules (Roryyyy! <3). I also
went to Dominican Republic in June, and April and I are going school supply shopping sometime next week (did anyone know Costco's selling binders in packages of 4 for only 10 dollars in total?! :O I sure didn't.)
Anyway, okay, updates--you've got to be blind (or just plain uninterested--in which case, why are you even here?) not to notice I've added a
bunch of new pages to the navigation. I've yet to finish all of them, so a small number are
under still construction. However, I've added
1 new Icon, a
Music Rotationpage, a
Fontspage, and a
Link Exchange page (for anyone
interested in affiliation, link exchanging, sibbing, etc.) I hope you really enjoy the new features--I've also vowed to become much more
active on the tagboard (SPAM for you all! jk jk =P)
Shout outs to Elaine for helping me install Cutenews (yeah, we're still working on it), April for making me laugh, and my dad, who just came back from his trip to Asia with a bundle of awesome preppy clothes and Lacoste bags for me (he's never
going to read this, but I needed to say thanks anyway).
